Smile 360 Dental Specialists, a foremost dental clinic in Lagos recently clinched the award for Dental Service provider of the Year for the 2nd time in a row at what could be called the “Oscars of Nigerian Healthcare” – The Nigeria Healthcare Excellence Awards (NHEA).
The Nigeria Healthcare Excellence Awards
is an annual event that recognizes and celebrates outstanding
personalities and organizations for contribution to the health sector
through innovative, efficient and qualitative healthcare delivery
services. Smile 360 was nominated for both Outstanding CSR Health Project of the Year and Dental Services Provider of the Year.
The NHEA is the brainchild of Dr. Wale Alabi,
CEO of Global Health Project and Resources with other colleagues was
first held in 2014. The 2016 awards were held in partnership with the
Federal Ministry of Health and Pharm Access.
Smile360 was selected from a pool of 4 main categories with 31 subcategories. Dr. Amy Traore-Shumbusho,
Medical Director of Smile 360 Dental Specialists was in tow with her
passionate team to receive the award. They were beaming with smiles as
they showcased the award to the audience.
Commenting on the award, Dr. Amy Traore-Shumbusho,
the Medical Director of Smile360 Dental Specialists appreciated
organizers of the award for their recognition and declared that Smile
360 Dental Specialist is proud to be leaving up to the standard expected
in the industry and that the award is a recognition of hard work and

The 2016 edition which was held at the
Eko Convention Centre Lagos, kicked off with a lot of fanfare with
Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses and Dentists donned in their dinner best.
Comedian Seyilaw was there to create a fun-filled atmosphere.
In attendance at the event were various dignitaries including Dr. Jide Idris, Honourable Commisioner of Health, Lagos State; Dr. Ola Soyinka, Former Ogun State Commissioner of Health; Prince Julius Adelusi-Adewuyi and Professor Olu Akinyanju (OON).
